Richard Headley, 36, was identified by police as the motorcyclist who perished in an accident in Southeast Portland on Sunday.
The individual was heading south on Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard when the collision occurred, according to the Portland police major crash team’s preliminary investigation. Police stated on Wednesday that they think speed and alcohol had a role in the collision.
Around 7:30 p.m., officers arrived at the scene of the incident close to Umatilla Street. According to the authorities, Headley was gravely hurt when they got there. After being brought to a hospital, he passed away.
This year, he is the third Portland traffic fatality.
