A broad sex discrimination complaint against Nike has tentatively resolved, less than a month before an anticipated trial. This likely puts an end to a protracted and intense legal battle concerning the company’s treatment of women.
The settlement, which appears to be a victory for the plaintiffs’ attorneys who have persisted in trying to turn the case into a class action, involves agreements with the four surviving plaintiffs as well as an unidentified class of plaintiffs.
