According to authorities, someone was hit by a MAX light rail train in Gresham late on Wednesday and killed as a result.
In a restricted section of TriMet’s trackway close to Northeast 10th Drive and Main Avenue, the event occurred shortly before midnight.
The person’s identity and other facts have not been disclosed by the police.
