On Thursday, Oregon’s Providence Health & Services issued a warning to striking nurses that if they continue their strike, their health insurance will expire at the end of the month.
The 36-day strike, which started on January 10th, has affected around 5,000 nurses working at all eight Providence hospitals in the state.
