Seven state championships were awarded on Saturday and Sunday at Oregon City High School at the OSAA cheering state championships, which were the first state finals of 2025.
With 104.5 team points, Westview won the Class 6A large traditional state championship. In the last six years, Westview cheering has won five state titles. West Linn, the current state champion in the category, came in second with 101.6 points, but the Wildcats defeated them by a slim margin. Lakeridge scored 90.8 points to take third place.
