An indoor shooting range in Tacoma caught fire on Sunday, killing one person and injuring another.
Following reports that the building was on fire and that people were inside, the Tacoma Fire Department stated on X that firefighters were sent to Bull’s Eye Indoor Range in the 400 block of Puyallup Avenue at approximately 6:16 p.m.
After extinguishing the fire, firefighters conducted a building search. According to the department, they discovered two people—one deceased and the other injured. The victim was sent to a nearby medical facility.
Investigations were underway to determine the cause of the fire. According to the department, Tacoma police were called in to look into the death.
