At 7:19 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service revised its weather notice for the Upper Hood River Valley, predicting freezing rain through 9 a.m.
“This morning, surfaces will have an ice coating due to below-freezing temperatures and light rain. Roads can get slippery and dangerous, especially bridges and overpasses. Watch out for potentially slippery walking surfaces. Take additional care when you walk. Around mid-morning, temperatures will rise above freezing, allowing for better weather, according to the weather service.
United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
