At Providence Portland’s contracted laboratory, about 120 technicians have decided to form a union.
The decision was made almost two years after the Catholic non-profit health system in Oregon sold its laboratory operations to Laboratory Corporation of America, also known as Labcorp, a company based in North Carolina.
