Beaverton man claims $328.5M Powerball jackpot

According to an Oregon Lottery news release, a 79-year-old Beaverton man has claimed the $328.5 million Powerball jackpot from January 17.

The winning ticket was purchased by Abbas Shafii from the Beaverton Fred Meyer located on Southwest Walker Road.The $146.4 million settlement is being taken by him in one big sum.
