The National Weather Service issued an updated high wind watch for Northern and Eastern Klamath County, Western Lake County, and Central and Eastern Lake County on Saturday at 2:12 a.m. The watch was in effect from Monday at 10 a.m. to Tuesday at 1 a.m.
The forecast states that “Southwest winds are 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.”
Damaged winds have the potential to topple electrical wires and trees. There could be widespread power disruptions. Travel may be challenging, particularly for well-known cars, the weather service said. “Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.”
