At the Moda Center on Saturday night, the Portland Trail Blazers were predicted to win against the Charlotte Hornets.
However, it’s unlikely that many believed the Blazers would end up setting a franchise record.
The Blazers won by a 53-point margin behind 25 points from Anfernee Simons, 20 points from Toumani Camara, Jabari Walker, and Shaedon Sharpe. The victory shattered a record that had been in place since 1982.
“That’s pretty amazing for such a legendary team,” remarked Chauncey Billups, coach of the Blazers.
