Death Cab for Cutie, Devo and Iggy Pop coming to Portland for Project Pabst this summer

Mark your calendars, drink plenty of water, and get some sleep, millennials. With a PBR in your hand, you can sway to break up songs written by Zooey Deschanel’s ex-husband, just as you did in 2008, when Death Cab for Cutie visits Portland this summer for Project Pabst.

Okay, so neither Ben Gibbard nor Zooey Deschanel were married or divorced in 2008, but then again, neither were you!

But hold on! And there’s more! With Devo and Iggy Pop as the main acts and, some would argue, a bigger deal than Death Cab, Gen Xers may also join in on the fun.

In 2025, Project Pabst, which made a comeback to Portland last summer, will return. This year, the festival will be held at Waterfront Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 26–27.

There are other well-known names on the ticket besides Death Cab, Devo, and Iggy Pop. Along with numerous more local and national performers, the event will feature Japanese Breakfast, The Exploding Hearts, and Built to Spill.

The pre-sale for tickets starts at 10 a.m. Tickets for Tuesday and general admission will be available at projectpabst.com starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 28. Tickets for a single day will cost $95; weekend passes will cost $175.
