Legislators from both parties in Oregon say they are committed to finding a method this session to hold state agencies more responsible for their spending and results.
As the co-chair of the Joint Ways and Means Subcommittee on Education and a Democrat from Gresham, Rep. Ricki Ruiz stated, “We owe it to the community to know exactly where money is going to, what our goal is with that money, and what results we’re getting in return.”
