On Tuesday, a Toyota Tundra driver from Eugene lost his life in a collision on Oregon Route 569 close to the Highway 99 off-ramp in Lane County.
The 35-year-old Jose Maria Perez Mata was traveling east when he lost his way on the off-ramp. His vehicle overturned and landed on the road.
The car’s only occupant, Perez Mata, was declared dead at the spot.
