Tractor Supply Co. was established in 1938 and sells a variety of products for farmers, ranchers, homeowners, and gardeners, such as lawnmowers, sporting goods, outdoor furniture, tools, and gardening supplies. Petsense, a store of pet goods, is likewise owned and run by the firm. Brentwood, Tennessee, is home to the business.
Tractor Supply is described in construction paperwork for the new shop in Washington as a “retailer targeting the hobby farmer,” selling items such as “clothing, fencing, hardware, bird feed, and equine products.”
Over 2,000 of the company’s shops are located throughout the United States. Alpharetta and Newnan will also have sites, as What Now Atlanta has reported.
The planned Washington shop will be out for construction bids until January 28, 2025.
