Head-On Collision South of Blum Leaves Five Injured, Including Three Children

Five Injured, Including Three Children, in Head-On Collision Near Blum

Blum, TX (FOX 44) – A serious head-on collision on Thursday morning in Hill County left five people injured, including three children.

According to Sgt. Ryan Howard from the Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on FM 933, south of Blum. Preliminary investigations indicate that a Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling north in the wrong lane when it collided with a Nissan Altima.

Both drivers were transported to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, while three children in the Nissan Altima were taken to Cook Children’s Hospital for treatment.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved as the investigation remains ongoing.
