Intel alumni raise $21.5 million for Oregon computing startup

Four former Intel architects founded AheadComputing last year, and the business said Wednesday that it has raised $21.5 million in its first round of funding.

According to the firm, its revolutionary microprocessor architecture can enable quicker, more energy-efficient performance by reducing bottlenecks in central processing units, which are the brains inside computers.
