The preseason favorite to win the 2025 Big Ten baseball championship is Eugene, Oregon.
Out of the 17 head coaches in the conference, the Ducks were selected first, followed by Indiana and Nebraska. All three qualified for the NCAA Tournament last year.
The Big Ten’s preseason poll, which only anticipates the top six slots, is completed by UCLA, Michigan, and USC.
Oregon is placed No. 12 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and 1baseball.com preseason polls, No. 14 in the USA Today coaches poll and Perfect Game, and No. 19 in Baseball America.
The Ducks play their first of 13 consecutive home games against Toledo on Friday at 3 p.m. to start the season.
