Oregon exports bounced back last year but a nascent trade war has everything in flux

Last year, Oregon’s exports increased by almost 20%, reaching $34 billion and nearly reaching an all-time record.

Because Oregon produces electronics, metals, wheat, wine, and many other goods that are sold worldwide, the state’s economy is highly dependent on international trade.
