Oregon job vacancies fall to four-year low as labor market cools off

There are further indications that the work market in Oregon is improving.

According to recent data released by the Oregon Employment Department, there were slightly under 50,000 job openings in the state last fall. That is the fewest available jobs since the summer of 2020, when employment ceased due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
