With almost half a million wagers made through the state lottery on the winner, the team with the first touchdown, and even the color of the players’ Gatorade, many Oregonians had a lot riding on Sunday’s Super Bowl game between Philadelphia and Kansas City.
The Oregon Lottery reports that over 456,000 wagers were placed by Oregonians on the big game last weekend through its DraftKings Sportsbook, setting a record for a single sporting event that brought in over $2.8 million for the state.
