Oregon State adds 5 to football staff, including former Beaver Trevon Bradford and Oregon Duck safety Nick Pickett

Three graduate assistants have been added to the Beavers’ coaching support staff, bringing their total to five as Oregon State spring football approaches.

Mark Criner (defense) and Mikey Jacobsen (offense) are joining the team as quality control assistants. This spring, Nick Picketton on defense and Adam Klein and Trevor Bradford on offense will make their OSU debuts as graduate assistants.

With the exception of Bradford, the former Beaver receiver who has spent the last two years working with the recruiting staff, all are new to Oregon State.

For the previous three years, Criner served as Southern Mississippi’s outside linebackers coach. Criner is an experienced coach with stays at Idaho (2007–12) and Portland State (1993–99).

Beginning in 2021, Jacobsen worked as a graduate assistant with receivers at UCLA. For three years, Jacobsen worked with Ryan Gunderson, the offensive coordinator at OSU, at UCLA.

Klein is a graduate assistant from Temple, where he worked with the offensive line as a GA. During his four-year career at Oregon, which concluded in 2020, Pickett participated in 45 games. After helping the Beavers with their recruiting efforts the previous two years, Bradford, who caught 151 passes for 1,904 yards during his time at OSU, did some coaching at practice.
