The basketball state tournament officially began on Saturday with the announcement of the brackets for the Class 3A, 2A, and 1A divisions.
Class 3A and Class 1A playoffs will begin their first round on Wednesday and their second round on Saturday.
March 8 is the date of the state championship games.
