Stanley Earl Dunn Jr., 51, was the guy slain in a shooting in January, according to the police.
On January 23, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the Hazelwood neighborhood, close to the intersection of Southeast 97th Avenue and Oak Street. Shortly after midnight, they discovered Dunn dead.
According to the authorities, the suspect or suspects had already departed the site. No arrests in the case have been made public.
Dunn became the second victim of Portland’s two homicides this year. Both took place in the neighborhood of Hazelwood.
14 individuals had been killed in Portland at this time last year.
