Portland Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets: Game preview, prediction, time, TV channel

When healthy, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Denver Nuggets are a bad matchup.

The Blazers fell 146-117 at Denver on Monday, sans Jerami Grant and Robert Williams III. Both will miss the rematch on Wednesday night.

Deandre Ayton (calf) and Scoot Henderson (ankle) are not playing.

The Blazers would have almost no chance of winning if all four were unable to play.

On Monday, Denver dominated the Blazers in almost every statistical category. The team’s ability to score in the paint, where the Nuggets had an 88-46 lead in the first game, is significantly impacted by the loss of Ayton and Henderson.

Getting hot from three-point range would be the Blazers’ best chance to win. Although Anfernee Simons, Deni Avdija, and Shaedon Sharpe all capable of doing so, it is unlikely that they will all be sufficiently motivated on the same night to cause Denver any problems.

It is predicted that the Nuggets will defeat the Blazers.
