When U.S. Representative Val Hoyle announced that she was leaving the U.S. House Department of Government Efficiency Caucus, I was devastated. Hoyle stated that she and her Republican caucus colleagues had no influence in an interview with Chris Cuomoon on February 6. She added that Elon Musk had no accountability and was simply blowing up the system. What does that mean for the American people, then? Who will speak up for us to hold the ruling class responsible? Where is the leadership that is willing to take a position and defend the moral high ground?
