It’s shocking that the Sherwood school board isn’t doing what other districts have done, which is to outlaw all guns on school property (Youth Voices: In Sherwood, kids lobby for concealed carry ban at schools, Feb. 21). The Sherwood school board apparently doesn’t mind playing fast and loose with the lives of the kids.
I support the educators and students calling for change. It seems that the school board is more concerned with being progressive by outlawing firearms than it is with ensuring the safety of students and employees. Kids, keep up the pressure. In contrast to your school board, you are doing a good job.
