The city of Portland has sent out almost two dozen snowplows to clear the streets as the snowfall in the Portland area continues. In order to help melt any ice that may be building up, the city also has a number of other vehicles.
An interactive map The website of the Portland Bureau of Transportation provides up-to-date information on snowplow and support vehicle activity across the city. Officials have advised drivers not to pass snowplows on any road and cautioned the public to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
