On Tuesday, a driver was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Oregon 228 in Linn County.

A westbound Chevrolet Trax, a small SUV driven by 37-year-old Kylie Rae Campbell of Sweet Home, collided head-on with an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado truck driven by 40-year-old Natosha Lynn Wells of Albany, according to the preliminary investigation of the Oregon State Police.
At the scene, Campbell was declared deceased. Wells, the Silverado’s driver, was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment after apparently suffering minor injuries.
