On Monday night, the Portland-based National Weather Service warned of tornadoes in northwest Clackamas County.
Radar indicated that a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was approaching Molalla at 50 mph shortly after 5:40 p.m., according to meteorologists. The meteorological service reported that the storm was located 17 miles south of Oregon City.
Until 6:15 p.m., the tornado warning remained in force.
