The National Weather Service issued an updated high wind watch for Northern and Eastern Klamath County, Western Lake County, and Central and Eastern Lake County on Saturday at 9:43 a.m. It was in effect from Monday at 10 a.m. to Tuesday at 1 a.m.
The weather service reports that “Southwest winds are expected to reach 35 to 45 mph, with gusts of up to 65 mph possible.”
Damaged winds have the potential to topple electrical wires and trees. There could be isolated power disruptions. Travel may be challenging, particularly for well-known cars, the weather service said. “Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.”
