Update: Wind advisory issued for Jackson County until Thursday morning

At 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for Jackson County that would remain in force until 9 a.m.

According to the meteorological service, “Southeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”

“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, there may be a few power outages and tree branches that are blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
