Read this tale in English:Cast your vote for the Portland area’s best place for tamales: Awards for Readers’ Choice
Following a long, rainy February, Portland residents are looking for a comforting meal. What better way to calentar than with a plate of tamales?
The previous week, we asked our lecturers to recommend the best place to get tamales in the Portland area, and they responded with their favorite restaurants, food trucks, and shopping destinations.
(Also, I received some less conventional responses: a reader praised Man Tamal, who offered a feast of frescoed tamales to the city of Portland’s sureste. Another person trusted their own kitchen as the best place to eat caseros. I think this might be true, even though unfortunately there isn’t a directive.
The last ten finalists are among the locations that the gentleman mentioned most, ranging from Portland to Beaverton, Milwaukie, and Tigard.
Voters can cast their ballots once till the end of this publication on March 4, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.We will reveal the results on Thursday, March 7 at enoregonlive.com/readers-choice.
