Ore, DUNDEE.Making wine in the verdant Willamette Valley of Oregon has given Portland Timbersicon Diego Valeri a new outlet for his creativity.
ConurWines, Valeri’s most recent endeavor, firmly establishes his Argentinian roots in Oregon soil. This year, Valeri debuted three wines as part of a partnership with Northwest Wine Company: his hallmark General Malbec, a Pinot noir named Sot, and a white mix called Mat.
Ryan Clarke of The Oregonian/OregonLive conducts a taste and a thorough discussion with Valeri, explaining each wine. Check out Sean Meagher’s full video, which was shot and edited, below. You can also subscribe to The Oregonian/OregonLive Sports on YouTube.
