The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Jackson County on Tuesday at 9:58 a.m., which was in effect for Wednesday from 1 to 7 a.m.
According to the weather service, “Southeast 25-35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. The weather agency says that there may be a few power disruptions and the possibility of tree branches being blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
