At 2:06 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Klamath Basin that will be in effect from Monday at 10 a.m. until Tuesday at 4 a.m.

According to the meteorological service, “Southwest winds were 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”

“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, “a few power outages may result and tree limbs could be blown down.” Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful. Light outdoor items should be secured to avoid loss or damage.
